Bas Jan is energetic, sociable and enterprising, with a great passion for digital innovation. Outside of work, he likes to stay active: he plays football, runs, and plays padel. He also enjoys travelling, cooking new dishes, reading a lot and regularly meeting up with friends. What he enjoys most is doing things with his girlfriend and two young sons. His wide range of interests ensures plenty of variety, which he finds inspiring and enjoyable.
Bas Jan brings that same energy and variety to his work as a Product Manager. He is enthusiastic about issues with a positive (social or sustainable) impact and believes it is important to really help them along. For him, the key is to understand the problem well and to switch between vision and concrete impact. He enjoys creatively translating an issue into a digital solution – whether that’s by facilitating brainstorming sessions and creating support, or by working with a team to shape the concept, set priorities and market the product.
